Shutter Styles and Finishes

Cafe

Create privacy and still keep natural light The Café style is the ideal way to create some privacy whilst allowing as much natural light as possible into the room. Café style is a lower tier shutter and ideal for any living areas especially at street level and bathrooms to stop the gold fish bowl syndrome.

Tier On Tier

Control the natural light and have complete privacy. Tier on Tier gives you the advantages of Café with the option of complete privacy by having a top tier. Tier on Tier can be adapted to nearly any room in the house. They are especially suitable to the bedroom where you can block out the majority of light for sleeping and during the day open the top tier and keep the bottom closed for both light and privacy.

Full Height

Create a sense of security whilst controlling the natural light. Full Height refers to single panels that are the height of the window. Full Height shutters again can be used on most windows. They are very effective for French Doors or on tracking systems used with larger windows. Where the panel height exceeds 1800mm a strengthening divider rail will be added enabling you to open and close the top and bottom louvers independently.

Tracking

A great option for larger windows. A Tracking system gives us the perfect solution for those larger windows/openings. When the window/opening exceeds approximately 2 metres the shutters need to be supported from the top by a track due to the weight involved. A bottom track can be added to increase rigidity.
